Both the Rhône and the Saône rivers run down the city of Lyon. But there is a joke that says that Lyon is connected by three rivers, which are the Rhône, the Saône, and the Beaujolais. That is because with its famous Beaujolais wine, Lyon is believed to be the capital of French cuisine.
